Located near the Denver metro area, Homestead is one of Colorado’s best short courses merging championship-style play with a shorter overall course length. But don’t let the yardage fool you! This links-style course, with four sets of tees and two unique nine-hole personalities can create memorable challenges to even the most seasoned golfers. To master this course you’ll need to reach for every club in your bag. The beautifully manicured grounds offer complete practice facilities, target and putting greens, sand areas and a clubhouse that enchants with its service while captivating with its views.

  • The clubhouse pro shop is open and taking in-person payments, accepting discount coupons, Expo cards and offering the full shop of merchandise!
  • Tee times may be made by phone or online. For senior and junior rates, please call the pro shop at Homestead at 720-963-5181
  • Online reservations must be pre-paid by credit card. Phone reservations do not require pre-payment and can be paid upon arrival at the pro shop the day of play.
  • All reservations can be made seven days in advance after 5 p.m.
  • Walk-ups are allowed.
  • Single player slots can be reserved as they become available.
  • If you are not comfortable joining up with another group, we encourage you to book and show up with four players.
  • Course hours may vary, weather depending.
  • Tee time cancellations must be received by our pro shop staff at least 24 hours in advance to qualify for a refund.

  • Regular cart rules are in effect.
  • Accessibility flags are available but must be requested along with cart at the time of reservation to ensure availability. Anyone with current state issued disability placard or written doctor's note can obtain an accessibility flag. The flag allows minimal use of carts on the fairways when the cart path only rules are in effect.
  • Practice facilities and driving ranges are open. Pick up and pay for a bucket of balls from the ball house – CASH ONLY or pay with a credit card in the pro shop upon arrival. The driving range is on grass surface.


UPON ARRIVAL 

  • Arrive about 20 minutes before your tee time unless you plan to hit range balls.
  • There is no need to check in at the clubhouse if you have pre-paid for your round.
  • We will announce your party's name and tee time through our regular PA system. You will be called to the tee at 9 minutes before your tee time.


FOOD & BEVERAGE

  • Inside and outdoor dining is available at The Homestead Grill. Take out is available by calling The Grill at 720-963-5194
  • As a reminder, no outside alcohol is permitted due to liquor licensing laws.

Golf Division

Program Purpose:

The City of Lakewood Golf Division, with facilities located at Fox Hollow Golf Course and Homestead Golf Course, offers an attractive, healthy and enjoyable environment with a wide variety of activities and services that emphasize social, mental and physical wellness for people of all ages.

Golf Division Policies:

Policy: Companions
Effective Date: March 1, 2020

Purpose: To ensure participants can safely and comfortably partake in offered services, activities, programs, classes and events and to support those participants who may need assistance to fully partake in available services, activities, programs, classes and events.

Policy Statement: Persons registered in or dropping in for the services, activities, programs, classes and events offered through the Golf Division must be able to understand and follow instructions, be aware of their surroundings and navigate the facility or outdoor venue without assistance from Golf personnel. Golf personnel are unable to provide services of a personal nature, such as toileting, dressing, feeding, assisting with or administering medication or any other similar services. Golf personnel may require participants to provide their own companions who will assist them as needed in order to participate in available programs, services, activities, classes and events.

Guidelines:

Companions assisting golf participants must comply with the following rules and procedures: 

  1. Suitability of companion

    All companions must have the knowledge, ability and skill to assist the participant in a selected program, service, activity, class or event. All companions must follow general program guidelines and activity structure while assisting the participant. Golf personnel reserve the right to require a different companion for the participant if the provided companion is unable to meet the needs of the participant. 

  2. Companion presence in classes
    Companions may sit in on programs, services, activities, classes and events as a non-participant provided that their presence has been approved by the Head Golf Professional or his/her designee. Companions will not be assessed a fee as a non-participant in a service, activity, program, class or event. However, if a companion is participating in or receiving instruction from an instructor in addition to providing assistance to the primary golf participant, they will be assessed the applicable fee.

Policy:Participant Self-sufficiency
Date Initiated:March 1, 2020

Purpose:  To ensure that participants maintain a certain level of self-sufficiency or receive assistance from a companion so as not to jeopardize the safety or impose an undue burden on instructors, Golf personnel, themselves or fellow participants.

Policy Statement:  Golf personnel encourage all participants to care for themselves or to allow a companion to assist them.

Guidelines:

  1. A participant utilizing Golf services, activities, programs, classes or events is expected to be capable of caring for him or herself, controlling his or her bodily functions and be cognizant enough to make decisions, or have a companion that can ensure appropriate care, make appropriate decisions and assist with providing care or support to the participant.

  2. The services provided by the Golf Division may be refused when a participant:
    • Requires more than routine assistance or instruction from Golf personnel in order to participate in services, activities, programs, classes or events.
    • Poses a health risk to instructors, Golf personnel, him or herself or fellow participants.
    • Requires direct medical attention to prevent the spread of a communicable disease.
    • Requires direct medical attention for open wounds or unsupported injuries.
    • Is repetitively incontinent and unable to care for him or herself.
  3. Golf personnel may require that the participant secure the services or assistance of a companion in order to resume services, activities, programs, classes or events.
